Service Overview

## What This Work InvolvesAnd Who It Is For
Most families discover adaptations the hard way: one person surveys, another quotes, someone else fits, and nobody takes responsibility for how the parts fit together. This service exists to remove that, one team, one point of contact, from the first visit to the final walk-through.

It starts with an assessment of the whole property and the daily routine, not a list of products. From there we produce a scheme and a written scope, explain any consents needed, then carry out the building works, the installations and the finishing in a planned sequence.

Because it is planned as a whole, the sequence makes sense. The floor is lifted once, the reinforcement goes in before the walls are closed, drainage is set before the tiling starts, and electrics are positioned before the plaster goes on rather than chased in afterwards.

This suits households facing several changes at once, or anyone who has been told the alternative is leaving the home they know. It is also the right service when the needs are going to keep changing and the work should allow for that.

### Who It's For

- Households needing several adaptations rather than one
- Families facing a decision between adapting and moving into care
- People with progressive conditions whose needs will keep changing
- Anyone who does not want to coordinate multiple contractors
- Owners adapting a whole property before someone moves inBook a Free Assessment

How We Support You

## The Care We PutInto Every Detail

### One point of contact
A single team responsible for the assessment, the building work and the finish, so nothing falls between people.

### Planned as a whole
Work sequenced so the floor comes up once and the household lives through one programme, not several.

### The home stays liveable
Wherever the property allows, a working bathroom and kitchen are kept available through each phase.

### Room to grow into
Reinforcement and services allowed for now, so the next change is simple rather than another rebuild.

Our Process

## How We Take ThisFrom Call To Completion

01
### Assessment
A free visit to walk the property with the household, map the routes actually used and understand what is difficult.

02
### Design
A scheme setting out room by room what changes, with heights, widths and levels taken from the person.

03
### Planning
Consents identified where needed, a programme agreed, and a written scope and estimate issued.

04
### Building work
Structure, drainage, levels and first-fix services carried out in a planned sequence by our own team.

05
### Installation
Sanitaryware, kitchens, lifts, hoists, rails and controls installed and coordinated.

06
### Finishing
Flooring, joinery, plastering and decoration, then a walk-through of every route and adjustment where needed.

Benefits

## What You GetOnce The Work Is Done

### Nothing falls through
One team accountable for the whole result rather than each piece of it.

### A sensible sequence
Work ordered so later stages do not undo earlier ones.

### Fitted to one person
Every height, width and reach set to the individual throughout the property.

### Less upheaval
One programme of works instead of years of repeated disruption.

### A home, not a ward
Domestic finishes throughout, with the accessibility built into the fabric.

### Future-proofed
Structure and services planned so the next adaptation is straightforward.

In Detail

## Materials, MethodsAnd The Situations They Suit

### What the service covers
Circulation comes first: door openings, thresholds, floor levels and corridor widths, because every other adaptation depends on being able to reach it.

Then washing and toilet facilities, a wet room or level-access shower, a toilet at the right height with reinforcement for rails, and controls that can be worked without grip.

Then the kitchen: worktop heights, knee clearance, reachable storage and appliances positioned so nothing hot travels far. Finally access in and out, ramps or level thresholds, handrails, external lighting and a path that works in the wet.

### How the work is run
You get a written scope before anything begins: what changes in each room, what is structural, the order it happens in and the cost. Changes during the works are agreed and recorded rather than absorbed quietly.

Access routes, floors and furniture are protected, and the household is told at the start of each phase which facilities will be out of use and for how long.

At handover we walk every route with the person who will use it, check heights and reaches in practice rather than on paper, and adjust what is not right before we finish.
